Hello everyone!
Be sure not to miss the special edition of my last work "Viandanze", named "Viandanze-reimgained", that will be released early next week by the netlabel Test Tube!

This short EP, resulted by a collaboration between me and March Rosetta, will include 4 brand new re-arrangements on 4 original piano songs composed for my Viandanze album.

Last, but not least, the release will be totally free!

So, at the end, i finished working on the soundtrack for the documentary "Controvento, senz'olio!" a beautiful production from "Fondazione Paolo Berro".

The documentary is simply awsome and it include 10 interviews from Italian well known persons as well as evocative sea-scenarios.

The soundtrack includes 10 songs taken from "Viaggi in aeromobile" and "Viandanze" and a new leading track named "Controvento, senz'olio" i have been composing for the documentary.

E' on line il primo capitolo del percorso verso il nuovo album!

L'inedito per l'occasione si intitola "Girasoli e lavanda".

E' da poco on-line il nuovo sito dedicato al nuovo album Viandanze, che sarà pubblicato il 13 dicembre 2009.

Il sito, un vero e proprio progetto multimediale inedito, accompagnerà il lettore per 12 settimane a partire dal 21 settembre fino alla settimana prima della pubblicazione dell'album Viandanze e si propone come un percorso fatto di parole-musiche-immagini verso il mio nuovo album.

La compilation "Remixed", rilasciata lo scorso 7 aprile, è stata pubblicata sulla storica netlabel "Lunar Flower".

Questa è l'idea.

Per registrare al meglio il CD "Viandanze" (del quale ho pubblicato un piccolo EP sul sito) è necessario rivolgersi ad uno studio di incisione, serio e professionale, proprio come ho fatto per la registrazione di "Viaggi in aeromobile".

Volete aiutarmi per poter scaricare GRATIS il più presto possibile il mio nuovo CD?

Beh! Allora considerate l'ipotesi di fare una donazione per la registrazione del CD!

In base ai miei conti, bastano 1.000 euro per un lavoro fatto bene che, in effetti, sono tanti, anzi tantissimi per uno solo ma sono, ad esempio, 1 euro per 1.000 di noi.

Oppure 2 euro per 500.

O che so, 0,50 centesimi per 2.000 di noi.

Insomma, con una donazione (anche minima) potrete scaricare gratis le mie nuove musiche!!

Ecco allora il patto: abbiamo tutto il 2009 per questo "esperimento".

Si parte da Euro 1.000 e si va a ritroso fino allo zero. A quel punto, toglierò la possibilità di effettuare donazioni per la registrazione del CD Viandanze, non voglio un centesimo di più di quanto necessario.

Una volta raggiunto il budget, registrerò il cd e lo pubblicherò GRATIS sul sito.

E potrete ascoltarvelo, masterizzarvelo, copiarvelo, metterlo sul vostro sito, usarne la musica per le vostre presentazioni, foto.. tutto quello che volete!

Legalmente.

Insomma, prima raggiungiamo il budget, prima il cd viene pubblicato.

Semplice no?

Diversamente, se entro la fine del 2009 non abbiamo raggiunto il budget, vi restituisco la donazione, fino all'ultimo cent.

Pubblicherò periodicamente il resoconto delle donazioni per avere sotto controllo dove siamo e dove stiamo andando.

Now, there is the concrete possibility to have all the brand new CD, FREE to download, share and copy.

What's all about?

From my previous experience with "Viaggi in aeromobile" I know that the professional registration of the CD costs around 1.000 euro.

That is a lot of money, huh?
Yep certainly it is!

But, to put in other words, it is just 1 euro for 1.000 of us.

Or, let me say, 2 euro for 500 of us.

Even, 0,50 cents for 2.000 of us.

It's quantity, here, that matters.

So here is the deal. We have all the 2009 for this "experiment".

Our goal is to reach Euro 1.000 and you can make it possibible.

Once reached (and i know we will) i will stop the donations for the registration of the new CD.

I will register the new CD.

I will release the new CD (in digital format) here and it will be FREE for the world.

With a small amount of money (as small as you want it to be) you gain my new music.

In the shortest time possible.

So here is the "Donation" button and it will be shown in my homepage for all the time needed.

If we do not reach our goal within 2009, I will give you back your money. Every single cent.

So.. are we ready to go with something really new and probably never tried before?!

Colgo l'occasione della release della nuova compilation "REMIXED" per lanciare anche il mio nuovo sito da cui potrete scaricare la mia musica!

Il sito è un vero e proprio "negozio di dischi", che raccoglie tutte le mie release, insieme, comodamente ascoltabili e scaricabili.

Il bello, credo, è che ci sono molte formule con cui beneficiare della mia musica: tutti gli album sono scaricabili gratuitamente ad una qualità accettabile (128 kb), in alcuni casi, invece, il download sarà ad offerta libera (con un minimo prefissato in 50 centesimi per traccia) per ottenere una qualità audio superiore.

Mi sembra, questo, un buon compromesso: si dà infatti la possibilità a tutti di fruire gratuitamente della musica e chi vuole avere maggiore qualità, può offrire quanto ritiene giusto.

Il sito si chiama "Fabrizio Paterlini Records Shop" e spero diventi un punto di riferimento per tutti gli amanti della mia musica!

Sono decisamente felice ed orgoglioso di annunciare la collaborazione fra me e l'artista inglese Thomas Carter (aka "March Rosetta").

Per chi non lo conoscesse, Thomas è un artista di grandissimo talento, la cui musica visionaria ha conquistato migliaia di persone.

L'ultima release del 2008 "Late in time" è stata scaricata più di 20.000 mila volte e si è aggiudicata svariati premi sul web, nelle classifiche dei migliori album dell'anno.

Il progetto con me, prevede una totale rivisitazione del mio ultimo EP, "Viandanze" in chiave "elettro-acustica", creandone così un "sister-album" che si preannuncia a dir poco entusiasmante.

Ringrazio fin d'ora Thomas per il lavoro che sta facendo e per aver scelto la mia musica come fonte di ispirazione.

I am happy and proud to announce a new collaboration between myself and the artist Thomas Carter, a.k.a. "March Rosetta".

Thomas' music is absolutely great and moving. Thousands of people on the web have been amazed by his releases. In 2008, "Late in Time", has been downloaded more than 20.000 and reached the highest positions in various "TOP 10" in the net-audio scene.

Our project consists in re-imagining my last work "Viandanze EP" in a totally new shape, bringing to life a "sister-album" that, i am sure, will be amazing and surprising.
